trouverez l´atelier de
Kristof Mascher, artisan
maroquinier presentant son
travail exceptionnel et unique. Il travaille du cuir de poisson de
tannagevégetal, une technique ancestrale siberienne redécouverte
et modernisée. Ces cuirs de poisson sont incrustés dans du cuir de
vachette pleine fleur, pour réaliser des ceintures, sacs et tableaux.
L´atelier est en visite libre.
In the village of Fanlac you find Kristof Mascher´s leather workshop. He
works with vegetal taned fishleather which he combines with cowhide. The
technique of tanning fishskin was invented by an indigenoos tribe in Siberia
a long time ago. It was recently rediscovered and modernized. Mr Mascher
creates belts, bags and pictures with this exceptional material.
